Industrialised Expeditions (demo)

A new track by my eldest son, Hakon. I think it sums up the general chaos and noise of daily life in a city quite well.

Jordan Page – Music for the Revolution

Jordan Page is a young Singer/Songwriter and itinerant musician seeking to mobilize a new generation to stand up for their country and the rights of the individual. Jordan uses his talents to promote a message of peace while educating and mobilizing resistance to tyranny and the erosion of American civil rights.

A mix of acoustic rock, hard rock, and folk, Jordan puts forth a powerful lyrical message with equally impactful music to educate and entertain simultaneously. He embodies the protesting spirit of Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan, Steve Earle and Eddie Vedder before him, which is so rare in music today. Speaking truth to power in song, Jordan has raised his voice against Corporate Fraud and misguided Government policies with the hopes of activating a new generation to social conscience and peaceful political protest. Like his forebears, Jordan seeks to change society and the world for the better through his words and his music. He empowers his audience by letting them know that the real revolution begins with the individual.

30 Day Song Challenge – Day 10: A song that makes you fall asleep

This is going to be the last one of these, I can’t be bothered to go on until number 30.

30 Day Song Challenge – Day 9: A song that you can dance to

So here is one that I HAVE danced to…

30 Day Song Challenge – Day 8: A song that you know all the words to

How many songs do we really know the words to and how many do we THINK we know the words to. Again, I hit shuffled my iTunes songs until one came up that I know all the words to.

30 Day Song Challenge – Day 7: A song that reminds you of a certain event

This one was easy as this song sprang straight to my mind.

30 Day Song Challenge – Day 6: A song that reminds you of somewhere

Reminds me of being in Asrekyr’s truck heading out to Depoe Bay, Oregon, to go out sea fishing in the Pacific….

30 Day Song Challenge – Day 5: A song that reminds you of someone

This song always reminds me of Fran….

30 Day Song Challenge – Day 4: A song that makes you sad

I rarely play this song except on the anniversary of Ian’s death as it chokes me up. He was a personal friend and he will never be forgotten.
