Problem – Reaction – Solution
The British people were long since banned from defending themselves or their property in any meaningful way, being told instead to rely on the police, who long since lost the will or the physical ability to do anything other than issue you with a crime number after you have become a victim. It is becoming clear from news reports and admissions by the police themselves that far from defending the ordinary citizens, officers were instructed to stand by whilst homes, businesses, properties and people came under attack by rioters, looters, robbers and the general scum of society.
It is all too easy to make excuses; the police were undermanned and over-stretched etc, but this is becoming an all too familiar pattern, not just in the UK but internationally. Remember Seattle, where the police allowed “anarchists” free rein to smash up the place? This was then used as an excuse to use violence against the peaceful protesters who were beaten with batons and covered in pepper spray. The exact same thing happened in Toronto and London during the G20 summits, London this Spring and in Quebec in 2007 and Athens 2008 cops were caught posing as anarchists trying to incite trouble. News footage showed police standing idly by whilst “anarchists” committed various acts of violence and criminal damage. Very convenient are these “anarchists”.
Following a couple of days of riots and relative inactivity from the police the public outcries grew; “Something must be done!”, “The police should shoot them”, “We need rubber bullets and water cannon!”. Enter David Cameron with pronouncements that the water cannon and rubber bullets would be made available to the police on request. The people cheer and say “about time too!” and they think the government has finally listened to them.
Of course what the people do not realise is that all they have done is given the government the excuse to do what they had wanted to do anyway. It is a concept known as Problem – Reaction – Solution; create, encourage or facilitate a problem, sit back and wait for a reaction, then conveniently provide the solution. I am not saying that the killing of Mark Duggan was a part of some master plan but the aftermath certainly allowed the government to do what governments like to do best, find ways to increase their control over the populace. Now there is talk about the Public Order Act granting special powers which, like most special powers, will soon get used in situations for which they were never intended. In the UK we had the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act which was designed to allow authorities to intercept phone and e-mail data and use CCTV to spy on suspected criminals, particularly terrorists, but was soon used to prosecute people for not putting their litter in the correct bin.
The question arises, why would the government want an excuse to make water cannon and rubber bullets acceptable to the public? Not to tackle a bunch of opportunistic thugs who, as we saw, were dealt with perfectly well once proper policing was applied. No, what really scares those in power is the thought of the proper working class (those who actually work, not the underclass who claim that title) and middle classes taking to the streets which, according to many reports, is a likely outcome of the current financial disaster created by our rulers and their banker friends. Any measures bought in to deal with inner city low life will be available for use when middle England finally and justifiably says enough is enough and takes to the streets.

Police State 4: The Rise of FEMA – full length high quality
POLICE STATE 4 chronicles the sickening depths to which our republic has fallen. Veteran documentary film-maker Alex Jones conclusively proves the existence of a secret network of FEMA camps, now being expanded nationwide. The military industrial complex is transforming our once free nation into a giant prison camp. A cashless society control grid, constructed in the name of fighting terrorism, was actually built to enslave the American people. Body scanners, sound cannons, citizen spies, staged terror and cameras on every street corner — it’s only the beginning of the New World Order’s hellish plan.
This film exposes how the “Continuity of Government” program has established an all powerful shadow state. Prepare to enter the secretive world of emergency dictatorship, FEMA camps, and a shredded Constitution. Witness police and military savagely attacking innocent citizens as our own government unleashes false flag operations to justify its oppression. Then watch as Alex Jones takes on corrupt mercenary police and exposes mainstream media brainwashing.
20 Signs That The United States Is Rapidly Becoming A Totalitarian Big Brother Police State
The following are 20 signs that the United States is rapidly becoming a totalitarian ”Big Brother” police state….
#1) A new bill being pushed by Senators John McCain and Joe Lieberman would allow the U.S. military to round up large numbers of Americans and detain them indefinitely without a trial if they “pose a threat” or if they have “potential intelligence value” or for any other reason the President of the United States “considers appropriate”.
#2) Lawmakers in Washington D.C. working to create a new immigration bill have decided on a way to prevent employers from hiring illegal immigrants: a national biometric identification card all American workers would be required to obtain.
#3) Barack Obama is backing a plan to create a national database to store the DNA of people who have been arrested but not necessarily convicted of a crime.
#4) Just to get on an airplane, Americans will now have to go through new full-body scanners that reveal every detail of our exposed bodies to airport security officials.
#5) If that wasn’t bad enough, the Transportation Security Administration has announced that airport screeners will begin roving through airports randomly taking chemical swabs from passengers and their bags to check for explosives.
#6) Starting this upcoming December, some passengers on Canadian airlines flying to, from or even over the United States without ever landing there, will only be allowed to board their flights once the U.S. Department of Homeland Security has determined they are not terrorists.
#7) Organic milk is such a threat that the FDA has been conducting military style raids on Amish farmers in Pennsylvania.
#8) An NYPD officer has broken his silence and has confessed that innocent citizens are being set up and falsely arrested and ticketed in order to meet quotas.
#9) A growing number of police departments across the U.S. are turning to mobile camera systems in order to fight motor vehicle theft and identify unregistered cars.
#10) For decades, Arizona has been known as “the sunset state”, but lately many frustrated residents have started calling it “the surveillance state”.
#11) Judges and police in Florida have been caught using “secret codes” on tickets in the state of Florida.
#12) An extensive investigation has revealed that between 2003 and 2007, that state of Texas quietly gave hundreds of newborn baby blood samples to a U.S. Armed Forces laboratory for use in a forensics database.
#13) A 6-year-old girl was recently handcuffed and sent to a mental facility after throwing temper tantrums at her elementary school.
#14) One 12-year-old girl in New York was recently arrested and marched out of her school in handcuffs just because she doodled on her desk.
#15) In Florida, students have been arrested by police for things as simple as bringing a plastic butter knife to school, throwing an eraser, and drawing a picture of a gun.
#16) When a mother on a flight to Denver spanked both of her children and cussed out a flight attendant who tried to intervene, she suddenly found herself handcuffed and headed for prison. Why? She was charged with being a domestic terrorist under the Patriot Act.
#17) A new global treaty may force U.S. Internet service providers to spy on what you do online.
#18) A leaked Obama administration memo has revealed plans for the federal government to seize more than 10 million acres of land from Montana to New Mexico.
#19) 56 percent of Americans questioned in a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll said that the U.S. government has become so large and powerful that it poses an immediate threat to the rights and freedoms of ordinary citizens.
#20) But one other recent poll found that 51 percent of Americans agree with this statement: ”It is necessary to give up some civil liberties in order to make the country safe from terrorism.”
CNN Poll: Majority says government a threat to citizens’ rights
Fifty-six percent of people questioned in a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey released Friday say they think the federal government’s become so large and powerful that it poses an immediate threat to the rights and freedoms of ordinary citizens. Forty-four percent of those polled disagree.

Playmobil Security Check Point
| By | Zampano (New York City) – See all my reviews |
Thank you Playmobil for allowing me to teach my 5-year old the importance of recognizing what a failing bureaucracy in a ever growing fascist state looks like. Sometimes it’s a hard lesson for kids to learn because not all pigs carry billy clubs and wear body armor. I applaud the people who created this toy for finally being hip to our changing times. Little children need to be aware that not all smiling faces and uniforms are friendly. I noticed that my child is now more interested in current events. Just the other day he asked me why we had to forfeit so much of our liberties and personal freedoms and I had to answer “well, it’s because the terrorists have already won”. Yes, they have won.
I also highly recommend the Playmobil “farm fencing” so you can take your escorted airline passenger away and fence him behind bars as if he were in Guantanamo Bay.
‘Twelve angry men’ are better than one judge
‘Twelve angry men’ are better than one judge | spikedThis week, for the first time in 400 years, a trial for a serious criminal offence has begun in England without a jury. The proceedings mark another blow for long-standing legal principles that have been under steady attack both by the current Labour government and by the previous Conservative administration. But this is not just an attack on the rights of defendants: this is an assault on the standing of every citizen.
Citizen Journalist Michael Yon Detained by the ICE
Author and citizen journalist Michael Yon has been through many of the worst places on earth and come out with a smile and a story. He spent years self-embedded with the US military, reporting on events in Iraq and Afghanistan, providing first-hand stories which the mainstream media failed to cover. As a former soldier and a voice of truth Yon is a real American hero. But he didn’t get a hero’s welcome when he returned to the United States on Sunday. Instead, he found himself in the Seattle airport, detained, interrogated, and ultimately handcuffed by customs agents.
What was Yon’s crime? He stood up for his rights as a US citizen.
“No country has ever treated me so badly. Not China. Not Vietnam. Not Afghanistan. Definitely not Singapore or India or Nepal or Germany, not Brunei, not Indonesia, or Malaysia, or Kuwait or Qatar or United Arab Emirates. No county has treated me with the disrespect can that can be expected from our border bullies.”
The All Powerful State
Old Holborn: The All Powerful State:

As I woke up this morning and reached for the newspapers, it suddenly struck me. There is no minutiae of my life that is free from State Interference. I looked around the room and could not find one article in my life that is not directly under regulation of the State.
It is said that until 1910, the average citizen of the UK met the State twice in his life. Once, at birth, where a certificate was issued to prove you existed and once at death to prove you no longer existed. Other than that, apart from the odd war, you were pretty much on your own. We thrived.
As I type this on an EU regulated computer, using a monitored and recorded Broadband connection, I can honestly say that nothing around me is untouched by the tentacles of Whitehall or Brussels. Nothing. I am preparing a roast dinner. Even the dead flesh is stamped by the State, the eggs I shall use for the Yorkshires are stamped by the State, the milk measured and monitored, the salt content of any other ingredients clearly labelled by the State.
So what remains untouched by the State? My thoughts? Well, no. The State tried very hard this week to regulate those and make criticism of group homosexual anal fisting in the park a hate crime. Then I read this morning that the next census is to include the question:
And anyone who interfaces with the State will now be checked for HIV, regardless of wishes.
Sit down for five minutes, and quietly think. Look around you and see if you can find ONE thing in your life that is not regulated or monitored by the State. Just one. I’ll publish the answers here. If it helps, I haven’t managed it yet. It is no coincidence that the paper you wipe your arse with is a standard size. The State decided for you.
